Helen Winston is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law. While at the College of Law, she was a Teaching Assistant in Trial Advocacy and Legal Writing. Helen clerked for the Office of the Federal Public Defender-District of Nebraska and the Nebraska Commission on Public Advocacy.
During her short career, she found success in compassionate release cases at the federal level, in a death penalty case at the state level, and dutifully served her immigration clients in the law college's Clinical Practice Program. Helen is a fierce advocate for justice for her clients in the Panhandle and beyond.
Helen is a life time Nebraska resident, living in North Omaha, prior to moving to the Panhandle. Helen graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.A. in Political Science. While in College, she represented UNL on the national slam poetry team and competed in several collegiate rock climbing invitationals.
When Helen is not working, she enjoys hiking with her husband Skyler, and her pitbull, Tygo.
Helen looks forward to serving clients in the areas of Criminal Defense, Immigration, and other areas of litigation.
